Empowering Ugandan Communities Through Education

Founded in 2018 by Sarah Nakimuli, a passionate educator from Kampala, Tumaini Education Initiative (TEI) was born out of a deep-seated desire to address the educational disparities prevalent in many rural Ugandan communities. Sarah witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by children lacking access to quality learning resources and opportunities.

Our mission is simple: to provide accessible, affordable, and high-quality education to all, regardless of their background or location. We achieve this through a variety of programs, including:

• Online Learning Platform: Our comprehensive online platform offers a wide range of courses designed to meet the needs of diverse learners, from primary school students to adults seeking vocational skills.
• Community Learning Centers: We establish and support community learning centers in underserved areas, providing access to computers, internet connectivity, and trained facilitators.
